The Irish Marine Biomaterial Repository (IMBR)

The Marine Biodiscovery group at NUI Galway led by Olivier THOMAS has been selected to build the Irish Marine Biomaterial Repository at the Marine Institute. The project started on the 1st July 2020 and will last until the 31st October 2021.

One postdoctoral researcher and one research assistant have been recruited to assist in the construction of this unique biorepository following a data management system in order to respect the best practices.This project is financed by the Irish Government and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) 2014-2020, Blue Growth & Marine Spatial Planning Scheme
